Women's shoes for town, winter and weekends

A good outdoor shoe has to meet demands that seem contradictory at first glance: it should go with your wardrobe and stand up to wind and weather at the same time. Hollert German Leather resolves this with natural materials. Leather gives shape and protection and lets moisture escape, while fleece provides warmth in winter without your feet feeling damp after an hour. Leather boots in suede

Suede boots bring elegance to everyday life. The finely brushed surface looks matt and soft, the tall shaft wraps around the leg, and a block heel gives you far more stability than a slim heel. Depending on the model, an inside zip makes them easy to put on and take off. With a knitted dress or a wool skirt the boots look feminine, with jeans more relaxed. Suede is breathable but does not like being wet for long: proofing the boots before you wear them for the first time and brushing them regularly with a soft brush keep the nap looking good.

Lined for frost and slush

When frost and slush arrive, the lining makes the difference. Shearling-lined winter boots, depending on the model with a striking platform sole, keep your feet warm while remaining breathable. If you walk a lot, you will find sturdy nubuck boots with merino sheepskin right down to the toe, a waterproof, breathable membrane and a slip-resistant rubber tread sole that grips even in snow. When it gets warmer

Once the days grow longer, your outdoor shoes can be lighter.
