Women's footwear in sheepskin, wool and leather

A shoe cupboard works well when every pair has a clear job. Slippers should keep you warm and help you unwind, winter shoes should protect you from cold and wet, and summer shoes should be light and let air reach your feet. That is why Hollert German Leather designs its women's shoes around how they will be worn and chooses the right natural material for each task: fleece and wool for warmth, leather for support and shape. The result is a range that sees you through the whole year.

At home: slippers and mules

For indoors, the choice ranges from classic slippers and slipper boots with a fold-up collar to easy slip-ons, depending on the model with merino sheepskin, curly fleece or pure merino wool. What matters when it comes to shape, sole and material is explained on our page for women's slippers. If you prefer something airier, choose a mule: closed at the front, open at the heel and slipped on without bending down. You can read more about this style of shoe under women's mules.

Outdoors in cold and wet weather

Once the cold sets in, lining and sole are what count. Winter boots with a shearling lining, on a striking platform sole depending on the model, hold the warmth around your feet and stay breathable. The fleece absorbs moisture and carries it outwards, so your feet stay dry even on long walks. For extended winter routes there are also sturdy, waterproof boots in nubuck leather. Light pairs for spring and summer

As the weather warms up, your shoes can become lighter. Moccasins in soft genuine leather, with fringes depending on the model, are flexible and adapt to the foot; they are joined by open styles with fleece, which helps to even out temperature on warm days too.
