Men's wool jumpers in merino and cashmere
Wool is nature's answer to changeable weather. The crimped fibre traps air and with it warmth, absorbs moisture and releases it again before things start to feel clammy. For its men's knitwear, Hollert uses fine fibres such as merino wool and cashmere, which feel soft and keep their shape for a long time.
Men's merino sweaters: soft and easy-going
Merino wool is finer than ordinary sheep's wool and therefore feels soft against the skin without itching. It is breathable, regulates moisture and balances temperature: warm in winter, comfortable on mild spring days. Merino knitwear is also easy to care for and keeps its shape. A merino sweater therefore suits both leisure time and business casual, for example over one of our men's linen shirts between seasons, when a shirt alone is no longer enough.
Wool cardigans: the flexible layer
If you move between warm and cool rooms over the course of the day, a men's wool cardigan is a good choice. Thanks to the button placket, you can open it, close it or take it off, just as the temperature requires. Wear it on its own, over a shirt or as a light outer layer on mild days. Under a coat it stays flat enough not to add bulk; matching coats can be found among our men's wool coats.
Men's cashmere sweaters
Cashmere is obtained from the soft undercoat of the cashmere goat. This makes a cashmere sweater light and refined, yet still practical for everyday wear, whether on its own or layered under a blazer or jacket. The cuts are clean and understated and, depending on the model, unisex. Cashmere rewards gentle handling: wash it by hand or have it professionally cleaned. More clothing for cool days is shown on our men's clothing page, and you will find knitwear for women under women's sweaters.
