Slippers in real sheepskin – natural warmth for every day

A sheepskin slipper has one decisive advantage over models with a synthetic lining: real fleece does not only warm, it regulates. The crimped fibre encloses countless chambers of air that hold your body heat, and it takes up moisture instead of letting it build up. The climate around the foot therefore stays dry and evenly tempered – cosy in winter, pleasantly airy in the milder months. At Hollert every pair is carefully made by hand from selected natural materials.

From the open mule to the closed slipper

Which shape is right depends on your day. The open-back mule leaves the heel free, is on and off in seconds and stays comfortable once the heating is running. The closed slipper encloses the whole foot, warms the heel too and sits more securely when you are moving through the house or stepping briefly outside. Many people keep both by the door: the lighter shape for mild days, the closed one for deep winter. Both are offered across the usual range of sizes for women and men.

Types of fleece and materials

If you are looking for a slipper lined with sheepskin, Hollert offers high-quality natural materials: dense merino sheepskin, which gives your own body heat back to you, and softly curled curly fleece with a feather-light handle. The outer materials include real suede and fine nappa leather – both age gracefully and hold their shape for a long time. Depending on the model, they sit on soles with a secure grip on smooth floors.

For women and men

The collection is split into sheepskin slippers for women – from the elegant sheepskin mule to the cosy slip-on – and sturdy sheepskin slippers for men. If you prefer something smooth and classic, our leather slippers for men are the right complement. Because a good pair lasts for years, it also makes a gift that outlives its first season.

How to care for the fleece

Real fleece asks for little: air it regularly, revive it now and then with a soft brush in the direction of the pile, and keep it from prolonged damp. If the fleece flattens after a few weeks, brushing lifts it again. Detailed tips for every sheepskin product are in our guide cleaning and caring for sheepskin.
