Menswear for every season
If you choose your clothes by season rather than by trend, you will reach for the wrong thing less often in the morning. Every natural fibre has its own weather: fleece and leather for frost and wind, wool for cool days, linen for heat. Men's clothing from Hollert is designed around this idea and is therefore easy to wear in layers that you add or remove depending on the temperature.
Cold months: shearling, leather and wool
In winter the jacket forms the outer layer, and this is where sheepskin shows its strength: the crimped fibre traps air and with it warmth, while the leather on the outside keeps out the wind. If you prefer a more classic look, choose a coat in wool and cashmere that goes as well with a suit as with jeans. You will find the full selection of outerwear under men's coats and jackets.
Between seasons: merino and cashmere
When mornings are cool and afternoons are mild, knitwear is the flexible solution. Merino wool is breathable and regulates moisture, while cashmere is pleasantly light and soft. A merino jumper under a suede jacket or a button-front cardigan over a shirt will see you through the day without leaving you cold or overheated. Find out more on our men's wool sweaters page.
Summer: linen from shirt to shorts
From the first warm days, linen takes over. The fibre is light, breathable and helps to balance temperature; it barely clings to the skin and becomes softer over time. Men's linen shirts with a band collar or a Kent collar work with tailored trousers just as well as worn open over a T-shirt, and light linen blazers give a summer outfit structure. For hot days there are shorts in pure linen that pair well with a shirt or a polo shirt. The counterpart for women can be found under women's clothing.
